A beacon of hope and human development takes shape.
Construction began on the multi-million dollar University Area
Community Center Complex in 1998, and the facility was officially dedicated in
June, 2000. Designed to be low maintenance, energy efficient, cost effective
and secure, the Complex offers 50,000 square feet of classrooms, offices, a
fitness center, multi-purpose gymnasium, auditorium with stage, music and art
studios, computer labs, daycare facilities, and more. Area residents enjoy free
access to everything from childcare to the cultural arts in this
state-of-the-art facility.
The facility may be rented for group and private functions for
everything from educational conferences and business meetings to family reunions and wedding ceremonies. Because of
regular programming and frequent rentals, many dates are booked several months
in advance so please contact us early if you are interested in renting the
facility. The UACDC is located at 14013 North 22nd Street, Tampa, Florida
33613. For a map of the University Area Community Center Complex location, please click here.
